This book explores how Indonesian EFL teachers use inner meaning negotiation teaching vocabulary. In particular, it reveals the negotiation of meaning strategies used by teachers in directing students to acquire new words in EFL class. This book discusses the problems that are carried out through class observation. The findings reveal just that the teachers used four meaning negotiation strategies; repetition, elaboration, simplification, and understanding check questions. That's very clear that the use of the four strategies of negotiating meaning by teachers is absolute consequences of teaching vocabulary through meaningful interactions with student.

Learning a language means going through the process of acquiring it language, and such acquisition can occur effectively only through meaning interaction in the target language. Obviously, this is broad the ideas received also apply in the context of learning vocabulary. In fact, meaningful interactions provide opportunities for learners to learn practically how all elements of language, including vocabulary, are brought together to produce meaning.

This book is hoped for becoming contribution for English language learners, particularly English Education university students. It is also believed that it would be beneficial for language learners who wants to improve and master on reading skills. Considering the many limitations and shortcomings in this research, the author expects constructive criticism and suggestions from the readers.
