The learning strategy is a thought and behavior that involves students in the learning process that is intended to influence the students' coding process by using various possible tools and efforts. Learning strategies are almost always directed and goal oriented, but maybe at certain moments these activities are not always carried out with a conscious or intentional level. An educator may have made various efforts to recapture, remember, or even realize that someone has used the right learning strategy.

The concept of strategy that comes from the military in war is analogous to learning. A strategy that is closer to the method is an action given by educators in learning, so as to produce a learning that is more effective and optimal. Method is an effort that can be analogous to battle. In winning the war in this case the learning strategy, the educator must design a battle for the sake of a battle called a method. This means that the way of thinking and acting in learning strategies is an attempt to win the war. While the method that is an integral part of the learning strategy is the effort made to win the battle.
